I queued from about 11 the rain was awful and they spilt the lines so a lot of people lost their good spots. Surprisingly it wasn't too crowed by the time I go in. Brought a T-shirt, I wanted a Yoshikitty but £65 was a bit much I was totally unprepared for the insane crowd pushing! Normally at concerts I try to stay near the front but off to the side so there's some space and it tends to be more laid back and you have one side of air. The surge forward when the band came out was unbelievable and I just got pushed where ever the crowd was going, it did get bad at one point being so cramped, hot and not being able to see anything, but it was really awesome beacuse Toshi leaned over the crowd and soaked us! I end up practically eating someone's hair at one point being pushed into their back while trying to sing :/ I did see a few people having to be removed from the crowd beacuse it was too much. I'm 5" but there were people smaller than me there I felt bad for them. I've never been so hot or cramped in my life, but luckily I stayed calm and eventually just went with it! Next time stalls I think! I was really grateful for Sugizo's violin solo beacuse everyone calmed down and I just closed my eyes and listened Other great moments were Toshi and Yoshiki messing around they're so funny! Singing the Japanese part of Kurenai was amazing. I hope no Japanese people heard me murder the language haha. I did get space to do the X jump. Not sure how long it was but they really made us wait for the encore it felt like forever!
There's more to say but for now I'll mention the fun times we had with the security after the show. I was kind from high from the experience and ended up just hanging around outside the venue, my room was really close so it didn't matter about getting back. A lot of people were waiting for the band to come out, but I was sitting there thinking no way they would come out there must be a secret back entrance they take. But soon after Heath, surrounded by people, appeared, they made him walk from the backstage right on to the road! I was totally shocked and he was in the car before I realised he opened the window and people went running to try and get close. After that they brought the taxis closer to the entrance and Sugizo, and then Toshi came went, so we screamed for them and waved as the taxi left. After some time we saw a car drive past the venue the window opened and Yoshiki was in there they must have used another exit for him. but everyone mobbed the car it was crazy I ended up running towards it and suddenly whoa Yoshiki really close. Some people chased the car down the street it was crazy! No idea what happened to Pata guess he left the same way Yoshiki did. After Yoshiki left we were told they'd all gone, but he might have said that so we'd leave. It was really fun and I hope we didn't scare them. While waiting I overheard the security say how they hadn't heard of the band before and so they'd assumed it would be a quiet night but it had turned into a pandemonium and the words "never again" were heard. Apparently the stage hands had complained that they'd never seen a band with so much equipment before. I just though it was really funny and it was a great way to end the night!
I'm excited to watch the videos to see all the things I missed! I will die if there's any footage or photos of me on the internet. umm apologies for rambling and any mistakes!
