"LEMON" means "Defective Goods",
which is a term of a "small chance" out of the mass production of goods.
With the "ed" at the end the name reflects the past and as such describes the things that are different from the norm.

The only real store had been in Harajuku once, yet, due to popular demand, the "LEMONed SHOP" has been opened on the 1st floor of SHINJUKU MARUI ONE.
